I tend to be very hard on myself in an extremely realistic way, forever searching for some sort of constructive criticism lol and you know what?
I LOVE IT….but the thing that is the most important to me is so far I’ve made improvements every single time I’ve stepped on stage, every year and also every time I’m just as hard on myself😂 don’t think that will ever change
⭐️The past 8 YEARS the wasn’t a time a missed a check in NEVER
⭐️There wasn’t a time I was without a coach
⭐️I NEVER questioned my coach
⭐️I ALWAYS prioritise making sure I have everything I need whether that means putting away extra $ for PT, posing or anything else instead of buying something else etc
⭐️The past 8 Years I HAVE NEVER missed a PT session EVER absolutely never.
So when people ask me what you have to do?
You have to be consistent with things that are common sense
Don’t coach hop, don’t quit and start again, don’t miss your sessions, don’t stuff around with things that are EASY.
Trust me when I say there was plenty of check ins of mine where they weren’t great (off season only😂) but one thing about me I take everything on board good and the bad. Self awareness is a great tool😉
Always look for improvements, use common sense. Training hard and doing nutrition perfectly 24/7 is much harder than actually rocking up to your sessions or any of the above. Do the simple tasks perfectly and you will improve

It might surprise many of you to hear that I will not be going into my pro show with the goal of winning, nor do I expect to place very highly😘🥰
Sometimes I hear people say:
Mon why are you so hard on yourself? 🥱
The reality is - this isn’t about being hard on myself or lacking confidence ( I don’t need anymore confidence trust me😂) it’s about staying REALISTIC in a sport where every competitor is exceptional, and genetics play a SIGNIFICANT role particularly at a PRO LEVEL!
I have always been this way, and maybe it works instead blowing your own trumpet not sure I’ll get back to you on that one 🤣🧐
At the professional level, everyone is GREAT this is the truth
Everything and everyone is at an elite level
When you reach this stage, the difference between competitors can come down to nuances in genetics and minute details in conditioning. Accepting this reality doesn’t mean I’m selling myself short. Instead, it’s about understanding the nature of the competition and the factors BEYOND hard work that influence the outcomes
It’s easy to get caught up in the pursuit of trophies, Olympia or a Pro Card, but for me, it’s more important to do the work and let the results speak for themselves🩷⭐️
I’ve always maintained this mindset and it got me this far so there’s no way I’m changing mentally in any way 🤣
I can appreciate the journey, celebrate the progress, and stay motivated, regardless of where I place.

Tomorrow I’m going in for an MRI to see what’s going on with my left knee. (Actually both but left is priority right now)
I always jump straight to diagnostics and you know what, it’s not a bad thing. Better be safe than sorry. In this sport we have a limited time and I certainly have no time to waste. If it comes back okay, happy days… if not then we make a plan, but always better to know 100%

I can deal with patellar tendinitis, but anything ACL related I’ll be pretty damn upset 🙂‍↔️

My journey was far from perfect, and maybe I say this because I don’t believe in perfection I don’t believe anyone is
one thing about me is I was always looking for critics or maybe constructive criticism I should call it. I wanted to know the improvements I need to make, not what I’m good at. I don’t need to hear that, I need to know what I need to do better .
