Well and I’m glad I jumped, a little wee trip down a memory lane. I don’t even think I’ve posted some of these shots 🥹very often I take a look back at my journey and think how amazing life is… I take a moment to be “in the moment” and just appreciate how far I’ve come….
At the time every decision I made seemed so scary, I had many questions and not many answers in my own head .
I remember the day I got told I’m NOT Bikini and I probably never will be
I had one week to get ready for my wellness debut after not training legs, and eating 0 carbs … and well it’s a good feeling to know now … I jumped
I might have been scared and the questions in my head were never ending, but what I did have throughout is my beautiful family and friends and that’s something that I’ll ALWAYS REMEMBER
I also always had an open mind, was willing to listen and always willing to learn that’s just in me though and I believe my parents gave me some amazing qualities that have helped me in life a lot I guess thanks for that too @violajedras 🤣🩷
I’m really looking forward to see all the competitors, goodluck 😘

In my 8 years of being heavily invested in this beautiful sport called bodybuilding and earning a Professional status with 2 federations(no I don’t have a big head just proud lol) I guess my vote here counts right 🤣🙋🏽‍♀️ I can tell you right now that hard work isn’t a “one size fits all” concept, and I can also say with a hand on my heart it was much easier in my early 20s😂👌🏼

Instagram has a glossy portrayal of struggle and you know you can only be successful if you have no obligations, can be selfish or don’t have personal hobbies other than the gym🤭 #yawn
For many of us (so I hope) there comes an age where hard work MEANS much more than shutting down the world for a win that’s not promised … it means juggling multiple responsibilities—taking care of loved ones(that’s if you have any I hope), managing a household, and navigating personal challenges WHILE trying to achieve your dreams
It means balancing your priorities and staying committed to our goals despite life’s curveballs
Life is truly so frigging beautiful if we are just able to take a step back and see it outside of the box, from a different perspective and if you can read this with an intent to genuinely understand it, give yourself a pat on the back for being open minded
hard work is different to all of us and there no one way to greatness I always did things my way and I’m here and I won’t stop ⭕️🌹so this is your reminder you can do it2

Check in Saturday and I’m excited, because I’m making progress 🤣🫠
Also had my DEXA scan done at Western Radiology via referral from the Dr (for the ones asking) and the results were crazy insane (good) looks like rest, family time and new snoot did me good 👍🏼

If you take a hammer and hit something over and over again, it’s gonna be destroyed 🔨
I don’t want to destroy my body…
I want my body to last me as long as it possibly can.
The surgery, the family time and having my Nan over in Oz after my uncles passing 🙏🏾 has been beautiful. I might of not been perfect and super consistent, but I never made excuses, I gave my body a rest, recovered from surgery and had a fuking epic time with the loved ones …and as I say I don’t dwell on it - it is what it is I move on and work
I seen someone’s post the other pretty much saying you can’t be great if you let anything like family etc get in the way and you will never be successful…
As much as I want to agree with the first part…. I more want to say that thinking is shallow and I DISAGREE STRONGLY!
Of course you have to be extremely focused and “not let anything in the way”
That’s common sense 🫡 particularly in this sport
Unfortunately most of us do have loving partners, we are surrounded by family, friends and that thing called “life” you know🫡if you don’t have that you probably should reconsider your path…
If someone asked you : If you lost your ability to move and the gyms were shut what would you do?
If you can’t answer that and you don’t have anything else outside of “this” that’s an issue…
Careful who you take advice from, look at someone’s accomplishments and listen to what they say. If they make you feel like crap DON’T LISTEN because anything is possible and love and family comes always first

Over 7 years of work and I’m just as humbled and grateful of what I have achieved then and now
Self reflection is my biggest strength I know my weaknesses well and I know my strengths well. I improve my weaknesses each time round and I play on my strength all the time.
I held a pro card with a different federation prior to winning my Pro Status with my dream federation 🥹🌹
I wish I could sit here and make it look sensationally easily and tell you my journey was all rainbows and unicorns 🦄🌈 and now BOOM 💥 look at my results however…
Funnily enough I’ve made some mistakes, there was times were I was far from your gold star athlete….and you know what I don’t mind ….yet I’m here
Sometimes looking at others photos on social media we may get the vibe it’s easy or easier for them…. Well they might not be telling you the whole story, so for whoever needs to hear this today:
